Guess it's about time I made a post on this new web manga I'm working on. It's called Stretch and is about two female roommates living and stretching together. You could read it as an instruction manga on stretching, but you could also read it as a slice-of-life romance manga. There are 16 chapters out and I've translated the first four so far. I'll be adding more chapters in the next few days. Enjoy.

Sorry, guys, I still haven't continued the thread translations yet. I know I'm taking too long, but I have an excuse! It's because I was translating yet another manga! And this one is interesting in a completely different way. It's what you'd get if K-ON wasn't about cute girls doing cute things in a light music club, but about cute girls doing cute things in a FPS game club. It's basically /k/-ON. I couldn't find any information on this manga and its mangaka, so I can't tell you much about it besides that I liked it.

I've read some complaints on batoto about how the FPS they're playing is for smartphones and not for a PC. Here's my two cents: IMHO an FPS for smartphones may be the only believable way to get cute high school girls to play FPS, especially in Japan where most gamers use their computers for work & surfing and buy game consoles for their gaming needs. Anyways, enjoy.

Since I don't have much time these days, I figured I'll just translate manga that are either easy to translate and/or don't take up much time to translate. Which doesn't mean that the manga aren't any less interesting or anything. So yeah, here's one. I suck at descriptions, so let me just translate the description over at tonarinoyj:

This manga is about the black cat "Kuro" and the lone girl "Coco" living together in a large mansion. Cute, fun and somehow eerie... Check out this full-color manga full of mysteries!

I've translated all that is out at the moment, but beware that this manga updates weekly with one page. Must be the full coloring that takes so much time. So we'll have to be patient with this one, guys.

Love Pig + The Beauty and the Hambeast

Hey guys, it's been a long time, hasn't it? I don't have much time to translate anymore, but it doesn't mean I stopped translating altogether. If you were wondering why there haven't been any new thread translations lately, it's because of two short manga I've been working on. One is a 4-panel manga called "RaButa"(Love Pig) about a fat school delinquent and a cute, shy girl. You can read it here:

Or download it from this Mediafile folder.

The other manga is a oneshot called "Debu to Bijin"(The Beauty and the Hambeast) by web mangaka Ugou Isshuu and is about a fat loser and a beautiful slut. It's just a coincidence though that both manga have overweight protags. While the first one is a light-hearted slice-of-life romcom, this one is more realistic and heavy, but it's definitely worth it. Have fun reading them!

Makai no Ossan FINISHED and Onepunchman DROPPED

Hey, guys, sorry for being unavailable for days (weeks?). I've been very busy lately and I don't think it'll change in the near future. Nevertheless, I've been translating a few pages of Makai no Ossan before going to bed every night and have finally finished it.

Well, what can I say... ONE is a great writer. His art may be not be everyone's cup of tea, but he has all these great ideas. Granted, some of them may be childish and random, but they don't seem out of place at all in the crazy little (under-)world he creates in Makai no Ossan. It was a great ride and I've come to love all the characters as I was translating it. I hope more people will read it now that it's finished.

As for OPM, the dreaded time I announced in this post exactly 10 months ago has arrived at last. Viz' Shonen Jump Alpha has long caught up with OPM and they've already translated the special chapters while I haven't even started. I realize that many of you don't have any legal access to SJA, but considering how busy I've been and I will surely be in the future, I simply don't have the time to translate what is already getting translated, only better, faster and more professionally. Another problem is the weekly/bi-weekly release of OPM. I can't guarantee that I'll have time to translate on Thursdays anymore. It's just not feasible anymore and I'd hate to make the fans of OPM wait. I hope you'll understand my decision.

I still remember how I stumbled on OPM 13 months ago and couldn't believe that it wasn't getting translated. No one seemed to know about it except for the few fans who read Japanese web manga. I just had to pick it up and show it to you all. OPM is now possibly the most popular web manga in the Internet and I'm sure I've done my part in it. Because of OPM's popularity, I'm 100% positive someone else will take my place and continue translating OPM and I've also seen Viz' versions getting uploaded regularly. In any case, I'm not worried about OPM not getting translated in the future, in fact, I think I know some guys who'd love to replace me. I'll keep the OPM chapters in my mediafire for as long as they're needed, so please don't worry about that. Thank you very much for reading my OPM translations all this time.

Now that Makai no Ossan is finished, I don't think I'll get to translate a manga again anytime soon, but if it's a short manga that's already complete like Ketchup Ninja, I might do it in what little spare time I have and upload it as a whole (or at least in big chunks). I guess I'll be focussing on translating the threads a few posts a day.

OPM chapter 29

Here's the long-awaited OPM chapter that introduces lots of new heroes. People who've read the ONE version will already know what happens in this chapter though. I could have used the great translation of the ONE version word for word, but had to change some minor things. It was mainly to adjust their translation style to mine. For those who haven't read the ONE version, you're in for a great new chapter with lots of new characters. Those who are up-to-date with the original version can enjoy the already great chapter in Murata art. Enjoy.

OPM chapter 28

Okay, here's chapter 28 of OPM that got delayed by a week because Murata was getting sidetracked again. I was thinking that now that the ONE version has been completely translated, all I'd need to do was copy-paste that Anon's excellent translations, but it looks like there'll be more chapters like this one that are basically Murata original chapters. Though I'm sure that ONE works with him on these chapters too, so it's not exactly filler. And it doesn't feel like filler either. I really like how these chapters expand the world of OPM without feeling unnatural. Anyways, time for some OPM!
